Design for Independence

Design for Independence is an initiative by Diamond Design, focusing on the use of intentionally designed home technology to support independent living. Design for Independence is currently in its early stages. We’re building it slowly, focusing on listening, learning, and forming the right partnerships before expanding further.

We believe technology should do more than impress; it should remove friction, reduce reliance, and restore confidence in everyday life.

This work is especially meaningful for individuals living with physical or cognitive challenges, including veterans, first responders, and others who benefit from environments designed with intention, clarity, and care.
