About Diamond Design

Botique. Discreet. Done Right.

My background is in computer networking and systems administration. After several years in small business IT, I made the move into residential technology in 2010 and spent the next six years doing installation, sales, and service at local AV firms before launching Diamond Design in 2016.

The decision to go out on my own wasn’t complicated. I was 30, I wanted to control the quality of the work that went out under my name, and I figured if it didn’t work out, I could always find something else.

Most of what we do is walk into someone else’s installation and make sense of it. Unlabeled cables, no documentation, equipment crammed into closets with no logic. We untangle it, document it, and leave it in a state where the next person in doesn’t have to guess. That’s not glamorous, but it’s the right way to do it.

We’ve worked in some of the most private residences in DFW, from custom new builds to high-end remodels, and on islands, 62-meter-long yachts, and Boeing 737 business jets for clients who value their privacy as much as the quality of the work. No wrapped vans, no posting your home online without your permission. When we do share our work, it’s with client approval and never with names, addresses, or anything that identifies whose home it is.

I’ve lived in DFW my whole life, which is either a sign of loyalty or a lack of imagination, depending on who you ask. Either way, this is home, and these are my neighbors.

In 2026, Diamond Design marks 10 years of designing and supporting reliable smart home systems in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
